As a think tank, our areas of interests our vast, but our focus is always on nurturing human excellence across cultures. We strive to disseminate evidence-based tools for success through our educational workshops with the hope to create an ever expanding network of people that feel empowered to reach their highest potential, feel passionate about what they do, and make a positive and meaningful impact in the world they live in. As an international nonprofit and charitable organization, it is also our hope to engage the public in cross cultural exchanges that are educational and inspire philanthropic action across boundaries.

THINK TANK
HYPER’s Think Tank activities include facilitating Future Sessions with individuals from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds in New York and Japan. Future Sessions are ongoing conversations hosted as a series of workshops and events that use action research methods to explore the intersecting points of art, culture, and technology. Participants are encouraged to imagine the kinds of futures they prefer with tools that allow them to play with and reconfigure their everyday experience. The outcome of Future Sessions are feasible plans of action and the inspiration to execute them. It is our hope that engagement in this kind of open brainstorming will bring about positive change, not just at the individual level, but trickle up to influence public policy.

Powered by Think Tank sessions bringing together innovative approaches from both East and West, HYPER is in continued development of a holistic educational program rooted on Humanity Driven Innovation. Humanity Driven Innovation is HYPER's unique approach for bridging cultural gaps, nurturing human excellence and harnessing the power of innovators, artists, and technology to encourage creative solutions for social problems affecting work-life balance.Currently, the problems of "way of working" and "how to live" are being reconsidered by individuals, corporations, and communities around the world in response to an upward trend in people seeking for a work-life purpose, especially amongst Millennials. Many people wish to live by doing what they like, not just "work" to live. HYPER’s Humanity Driven Innovation Education Program seeks to encourage exploration of purpose and self-actualization through the use of tested tools for tapping into the creative self, talent building, action planning, communication, and future thinking.

Recent social science research literature has defined "Purpose" as “a stable and generalized intention to accomplish something that is at the same time meaningful to the self and consequential for the world beyond the self”. Thus, it is also part of HYPER’s mission to create mechanisms through which individuals and groups can share their vision of work-life purpose with the rest of society; thus strengthening understanding of their role as purveyors of positive change. To that purpose, HYPER plans to design and produce events that create an opportunity for altruism, idea and cultural exchange.
